Fast ForWord is a language training program that rapidly builds skills necessary for language competence. On average, individuals with language and reading difficulties make 1.5 to 2 year gains after 4 to 8 weeks of training. Fast ForWord improves language skills by combining progressive CD-ROM and Internet technology with over 25 years of research in neuroscience and neuropsychology. Studies further show that these gains last, and that broader academic performance is significantly improved as well. Fast ForWord consists of exercises presented in a game-like environment and includes animations to help child's interest and rewards correct response.
